SENIOR FAREWELL 2019 by Julia Cucci
Dear class of 2019, With graduation approaching and high school coming to an end, many seniors begin to look back on their time here at PTHS. Whether you reflect on the good memories with friends, or the hardships that made you stronger, the past four years have truly prepared us for any obstacle that tries to get in our way.
One word used to describe the class of 2019 is character. Each student in this class is light-hearted and selfless. They constantly pushed themselves to do better and go beyond the boundaries others have set for them. Whether they are the star athletes of today or the musical prospects of tomorrow, these students have set their standards high. I ask that you take the memories and experiences you have had here at PTHS and use them to help guide your future. Know that we are not the same group of students who walked these halls in September of 2015. It may seem like a daunting task to say goodbye to the people you grew up with, but know that you are ready to take that next step into the real world.
My parting wish for the class of 2019 is to not forget where you started. High school may have been an emotional roller coaster for some but it truly provided each and every one of us with a safe place to discover who we are. We laughed, we cried, we argued, but most importantly we learned. We were given the tools to work toward our success.
Wishing you the best of luck with the future and the amazing opportunities it has set for you!
Congratulations to the Class of 2019!
