The Girls Soccer team hosted its first annual Pancreatic Cancer Game on October 17th and showed its skills by pulling off a 3-0 win against Parsippany High School.

With fire in their eyes, the Panthers started off strong with a goal scored by Sophomore Sydney Roserio. They continued to move the ball around and make connections to get their second, scored by Junior Giana Dellaporta. But one was not good enough for Giana. She battled through defenders to score another goal against Parsippany in the second half, making the final score 3-0.

The defense had a stellar game, from goal line saves to phenomenal tackles, allowing their keeper Danielle Laky to obtain a shutout. Laky made some amazing saves and kept the Panthers in the game constantly throughout the night.

The Pequannock Soccer Organization thanks you for all your proceeds and donations toward Pancreatic Cancer research. Collectively the game raised over $400 that will be donated to the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Fund.
