For many PTHS seniors, graduation is not the end; it is just the beginning. As we move forward to the next chapter of our lives, it is our time to reflect on all we have learned and accomplished throughout high school. For each and every one of us, high school has changed who we are. Although it is hard to accept that these times are over, the lessons we have learned, the relationships we formed, and the memories we created will stay with us forever. Whether it was a difficult class, a best friend, a significant other, or the obstacles of teenage years, our experiences at PTHS have shaped us into who we are today, and who we are proud to be.
The senior class of 2018 is unstoppable, motivated, and filled with some of the kindest hearts I have ever met. The memories we have all shared together here at PTHS, from our very first football game as freshmen to our last dance at senior prom, are times we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Through numerous pep rallies, the Lip Dub, and title-winning sports teams, the PTHS class of 2018 has been through it all together.
As graduation day is approaching, it is important to hold onto these memories as well as the strengths, skills, and knowledge we have gained. It is now our responsibility to show the world what we are capable of. For some, leaving high school and moving away from family and friends can be challenging, while others may be excited or determined to see what the future holds. Whichever way you choose to look at it, my one last wish for the members of the class of 2018 is to take all these memories, lessons, and relationships with you beyond high school and accomplish something amazing with them. Allow them to inspire and help you to be successful in whatever you endeavor!
I wish all of us the best of luck as we make this transition together, and I hope our adventures at PTHS will forever be a part of us. Congratulations to the Class of 2018!
