FBLA is hosting its 14th annual Intergenerational Prom next week with the theme of Mardi Gras! It will be on Friday, April 28th in the cafeteria from 5:30pm-8pm. Not only FBLA members help run this event, but anyone who would like to help can easily sign up for a shift and talk to Mr. Honig in room 306 for more information.
Intergenerational prom allows senior citizens from Cedar Crest to venture back into their early years and enjoy a night of food, music, dancing, and connecting with friends of all ages. As a student you are offered the opportunity to help serve the elderly, talk to them about life in high school, and even dance with them.
Our very own jazz band will be opening up the night, followed by their Senior Citizen Jazz Band, and The Dixie Gents. After all of the dancing towards the end of the night, prom king and prom queen will even be announced just like any other prom. So come out and volunteer for a night of fun with old and new friends!
